It is solid and heavy, possibly die-cast zinc with a Brass coating, as KBC started using it in the early 2000for more detailed pieces. Material is nonmagnetic, with an Old English finish. Some tarnish and patina present. Weighs approximately 8.4 oz each.

Has some patina and tarnish, as seen in pictures two of the pieces are lighter from more exposure to light. Bookplate measures 9/16 and is marked KBC 1992 43295.
